Tradewind Recruitment is supporting a primary school based in the Lambeth area who require a School Caretaker / Premesis Assistant on a temporary contract basis, starting after May half term. This would be a full-time, temporary contract until July 2026.
Hours are typically structured around the school day, including early morning opening and late afternoon closing.
As a School Caretaker, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and security of the school site. This includes:
- Opening and closing the building
- Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance
- Managing deliveries
- Ensuring communal spaces and outdoor areas are clean and safe
- Supporting the preparation of rooms for events
