Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for flexible secondary school teaching practitioners that are available from as little as 1 day per week, up to full time, to work in schools in Bridlington. This is a temporary position, and further details about availability or work requirements can be established by phoning the numbers below.
Payment for daily supply teacher bookings will be between £130 and £180 per day, depending on experience, qualifications and distance travelled. Long term positions will be paid in line with the main teaching pay scale, from M1 to UPS 3, meaning the offered salary will be between £32,916 to £51,042 per year, scaled to a daily rate of between £168.80 to £261.78 per day.
This role will involve working on a flexible basis covering either lessons outside your specialism, or purely teaching your specialism (if that is your desire/requirements - please note this could impact amount of work available). You will provide an integral role in the day to day running of the schools you are working in. Consistency is extremely important for schools, so it is very likely that many of your shifts will be in the same school or set of schools, to ensure that the learners have a familiar face teaching them, you are well versed in school policies, and that you are comfortable within a school that is familiar to you.
In these areas we are on excellent terms with a large number of schools, and have bookings available on a daily basis or a longer term basis depending on the needs of the schools at the time. Tradewind will also support your development during your placement and beyond through our fantastic CPD via The National College. You will be put onto all of the same CPD as permanent staff members, and encouraged to grow.
- Hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
- Have experience working within schools in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
