Have you recently graduated from university and are considering a career in education? Do you have a keen interest in supporting children with Autism and other learning needs? Tradewind Recruitment currently works closely with a range of mainstream primary schools in Braintree who are looking for their next graduate. These are full-time, term-time only roles and for the strongest candidates, will often lead to full-time employment with the school. Our schools are particularly interested in hearing from graduates with degrees in Maths, English, Psychology or a creative subject. Other disciplines will also be considered.
No two days are the same working as a primary graduate TA, and you can expect a varied and exciting role in which you are constantly learning. You will have the full support of the classroom teachers, Senior Leadership Team and the SENCO to ensure you are successful in your role. A large part of your role will be supporting children with Autism or other learning needs both within and outside the classroom. We are looking for people with a genuine passion for childcare and education.
Daily Rate: £92.5-£105 per day (PAYE)
Location: Braintree
Start Date: ASAP or From September
End Date: July (Permanent option as well)
Type of role: Full time and long term
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with children with SEND needs
- Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour using a range of techniques
- Build strong relationships with parents
- Find creative ways to ensure learners are engaged
