About the Role
- The successful English Teacher will: Deliver engaging and creative English lessons across KS2 and KS3.
- Inspire pupils through the study of literature, reading, writing, grammar, and communication.
- Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities.
- Encourage pupils to develop confidence in their written and verbal communication.
- Assess pupil progress and provide effective feedback to support improvement.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where pupils feel motivated to succeed.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop curriculum planning and teaching strategies.
- Contribute to literacy initiatives, enrichment activities, and wider school events.

- A qualified teacher with QTS/QTLS or equivalent (ECTs are encouraged to apply).
- A passionate English specialist with strong curriculum knowledge.
- Confident teaching across both Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3.
- Creative, reflective, and committed to delivering high-quality lessons.
- Able to motivate and inspire pupils of different abilities.
