Full-Time MPS1 - UPS1 (London Fringe): 34,400 - 48,900

Tradewind Recruitment is currently supporting a well-regarded primary school in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, which is seeking a Key Stage 2 specialist class teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and committed teacher to step into a supportive, inclusive school environment where high standards and pupil wellbeing are firmly embedded. The school is a one-form entry setting (with two classes in Year 5) and continues to maintain strong outcomes following a positive Ofsted inspection.

The Role

  • Full-time KS2 class teacher position with an immediate start
  • Responsibility for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge all learners
  • Ongoing assessment, tracking and reporting of pupil progress
  • Creating a positive, well-managed and inclusive classroom environment
  • Working closely with colleagues, parents and external professionals to support pupil outcomes

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with evidence of skills tests passed
  • Experience teaching in a primary setting, ideally within Key Stage 2
  • A strong understanding of:
  • Child development and age-appropriate learning strategies
  • Inclusive classroom practice and adaptive teaching
  • Effective teaching and learning approaches
  • Assessment, monitoring and reporting procedures
