We are working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Milton Keynes seeking an enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join their team on a full-time fixed-term basis until July 2027, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed teacher who is passionate about helping children reach their full potential and creating a positive, engaging classroom environment.
Role Highlights
- Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured Year 4 lessons
- Teach across English, Maths and the wider curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
- Assess and monitor pupil progress
- Promote positive behaviour, independence and resilience
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and parents
- Contribute to the wider school community
About You
- Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2 in a UK primary school
- Year 4 experience is desirable
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Nurturing, adaptable and reflective approach to teaching
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Passionate about supporting children's academic and personal development
- Able to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
- ECTs are welcome to apply and will be fully supported
