Key Responsibilities:
- Relational Teaching: Plan and deliver an engaging, differentiated curriculum that caters to individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and complex neurodiverse profiles.
- De-escalation & Regulation: Implement positive behaviour support strategies, emotional literacy, and trauma-informed restorative practices to create a calm, predictable learning environment.
- Holistic Support: Act as a key adult and trusted mentor for vulnerable youth, working closely with on-site therapeutic teams, pastoral staff, and external multi-agencies.
- Collaborative Leadership: Direct and mentor a small, dedicated team of specialised SEND Teaching Assistants within your classroom to optimise student engagement.
