Facilitate mediation and restorative justice sessions to resolve peer conflicts and friendship breakdowns. Act as a reliable point of contact for parents and carers, building strong school-home partnerships. Work in close alignment with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), SENCO, Heads of Year, and external multi-agency teams (Social Care, CASHER, youth services). Communication & Boundaries: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build high-trust relationships with adolescents while maintaining firm, fair boundaries. Conflict Resolution: Confident in behaviour management, restorative practice, and de-escalation techniques; Team Teach or similar positive handling training is advantageous.
