We are actively sourcing enthusiastic ECTs who want to make a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people with diverse learning needs, including:

  • Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC / ASD)
  • Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, adapt, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and independence.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, including Speech and Language Therapists (SALT), Occupational Therapists (OT), and dedicated SEN Support Assistants.
  • Monitor student progress, manage individual learning targets, and track development effectively to meet your ECT induction standards.
  • Utilise positive behaviour management and de-escalation strategies to support student well-being.

  • Qualifications: Hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or be on track to graduate as an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
