Are you a caring and enthusiastic Early Years practitioner looking for a new opportunity this September? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school (or schools) across East Lancashire.
This is a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2026, supporting children at the very beginning of their educational journey.
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils within Nursery and/or Reception, helping to create a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
- Working with small groups and individual pupils to support early development.
- Supporting pupils' personal, social, and emotional development.
- Observing and feeding back on pupil progress where required.
Requirements:
- Hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent experience).
- Have experience working within EYFS settings (school or nursery).
- Be caring, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting young children.
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
- Provide professional references and have the legal right to work in the UK.
