The Role:
- Primary & EYFS Specialist Support: In this role, you will be a key support pillar for primary students with additional needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum safely and confidently. You will work within a supportive team in Tile Cross, focusing on removing barriers to learning and celebrating every developmental milestone. Note: Prior experience within EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) is highly advantageous for this role, as many students require foundational support with sensory play and early communication.

- Contract: Temp-to-Perm
- Pay: 90 - 105 per day (Depending on experience)
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
Key Responsibilities
- Personalised Support: Deliver 1-1 assistance tailored to specific EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans).
- EYFS Integration: Use your Early Years knowledge to support sensory-based learning and social integration.
- Collaboration: Work alongside the Class Teacher and SENDCo to track progress and adapt primary learning materials.
- Inclusive Environment: Help foster a calm, inclusive, and positive classroom atmosphere for young learners.
- Behavioral Support: Use de-escalation techniques and positive reinforcement to manage complex needs.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience supporting children with SEND (ASC, ADHD, SEMH, or SLD) is essential.
- Advantage: Background in EYFS or Early Years settings is highly preferred.
- Qualifications: Relevant TA qualifications (Level 2 or 3) are a plus, but a "can-do" attitude and relevant experience are essential.
- Compliance: Must hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
