English Teacher
Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting for a full‑time English Teacher to work at a School in the East Riding of Yorkshire, starting 7th September and lasting until September 2027. This temporary position covers the absence of a teacher on maternity leave. Payment will be in line with the main teaching pay scale, from £34,069 to £52,835 per year.
This role involves teaching English to Key Stage 3 and 4 students. The school has a large bank of resources and shares good practice, so the planning requirements are minimal. You will mainly teach Key Stage 3, with some lessons of Year 10 on the timetable.
The school is located near East Hull and is easily accessed by car or public transport. There is a large onsite car park for staff that is free to use. The school has a fantastic reputation in the local area, and will consider applications from early‑career teachers (ECTs), offering them placement for one term.

Requirements
- Experience working within schools in the UK.
- Experience supporting students within UK schools.
- Experience teaching English to KS4 students.
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure and, where applicable, overseas police clearance and professional reference checks.
- Full CV available.
