Location: SEMH School in Leicester
Salary: Up to £95 per day
Hours: 8:15am – 3:10pm
Start Date: Immediate

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join our friendly, family-orientated SEMH school in Bury. The ideal candidate will be skilled in building strong relationships with students while being consistent and effective in behaviour management strategies. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of disengaged students by working as part of the intervention team to ensure they meet the targets set by the school.

Key Responsibilities:

Support and mentor students who are disengaged or struggling with behaviour.
Build strong, trusting relationships with students to encourage positive behaviour.
Work closely with the intervention team to track student progress and ensure targets are met.
Implement and maintain consistent behaviour management strategies.
Provide one-to-one and small group support to students as needed.
Promote a positive learning environment and school culture.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children (either in a school or other relevant setting).
Ability to build rapport with students and support their emotional and academic growth.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
A clear understanding of behaviour management strategies.
A proactive and caring attitude with a focus on student wellbeing.
