Job Title: Science Technician

Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a secondary school in Wirral who are looking for a Science Technician to join their dedicated Science Department.
The Role:
- Preparing equipment and materials for practical science lessons
- Supporting teachers with practical demonstrations and experiments
- Setting up and clearing away practical activities
- Maintaining laboratory equipment and resources
- Ensuring laboratories are clean, safe and well organised
- Managing stock levels and ordering equipment and materials
- Following appropriate health and safety procedures
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the Science Department
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a laboratory, science or school environment
- Good knowledge of laboratory equipment and procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- A proactive and reliable approach
- Comfortable working alongside both staff and students
- Knowledge of health and safety within a laboratory environment
