We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistants to join a supportive and forward-thinking school community. This full-time, term-time-only role is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates considering a career in education, or those looking to gain valuable experience working with young people aged 11-16.
Qualifications
- A recent degree (any subject considered - education, psychology, English, and science particularly welcome)
- Experience working with young people is desirable (this could include mentoring, tutoring, youth work, or classroom support)
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
- Confidence working 1:1 or in small groups, including with pupils who have additional learning needs
- A commitment to safeguarding and supporting the wellbeing of young people
