We are currently recruiting for Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Bath / BANES. Positions are available to start immediately (and from January 2026) on a short-term, long-term, part-time, or full-time basis, offering excellent flexibility.
The Role
Cover Supervisors play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of learning when teachers are absent. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering pre-prepared lesson material to classes
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Supporting pupils to remain focused and engaged in their learning
- Ensuring a safe and productive learning environment
Working Hours & Pay
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
- From Β£120 per day
- Flexibility to choose the days you are available from 2-5 days!
Requirements
- Minimum of A-level qualifications (or equivalent) but a degree is preferred
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confidence to lead and manage groups of students
- A professional and proactive attitude towards supporting education
