West Finchley ASAP Start 1 Form Entry Primary School 5 Days Per Week (Full-Time)
A welcoming and nurturing 1 form entry primary school in West Finchley is seeking an experienced and committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their Reception class as soon as possible. This is a full-time role within a class that has a high percentage of pupils with additional needs, so the school is looking for someone confident, adaptable and genuinely passionate about supporting children in the Early Years.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent) - essential
- Proven experience working as a Reception Teaching Assistant
- Strong experience delivering phonics interventions
- Experience supporting speech and language development
- Knowledge and practical experience supporting neurodivergent children (e.g. ASD, ADHD)
- A bubbly, proactive and adaptable personality
- The ability to work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support targeted interventions
