The Role
As a School Administrator, you will provide essential administrative and organisational support across the school, ensuring systems and processes run efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and updating student records using school Management Information Systems (MIS) such as SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom or equivalent
- Supporting attendance monitoring, registers, and daily attendance processes
- Producing reports, data extracts, and documentation for senior leaders and pastoral teams
- Handling inbound and outbound school communications (phone calls, emails, and letters)
- Supporting safeguarding, pastoral, and attendance teams with accurate record keeping
- Maintaining confidential student and staff information in line with GDPR and school policies
- Assisting with admissions, enrolment, and student transition processes
- Supporting general office duties including filing, scheduling, and coordination tasks
- Liaising with parents, carers, staff, and external agencies in a professional manner
- Ensuring smooth daily operation of administrative systems and processes across the school
The Ideal Candidate
The school is seeking a reliable, organised, and proactive individual with strong administrative experience in a school setting. You will have:
- Proven experience working in a secondary school administrative role (essential)
- Strong experience using school MIS systems (e.g. SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom or similar)
- Excellent IT, data entry, and record-keeping skills
