Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire | Part-Time | September 2026 Start | Permanent Preferred Are you an Early Years Teacher looking for a part-time role from September 2026?Would you like to join a friendly primary school where you'll be supported by an experienced team and have the opportunity to make a real difference during the most important stage of a child's education?We are working with a welcoming primary school in Banbury that is looking to appoint a part-time Early Years Teacher from September 2026.

The school prides itself on providing a caring and engaging environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning from day one.

This is a permanent position for the right candidate, although long-term options may also be considered.

The Role

  • Teach an Early Years class from September 2026
  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the EYFS Framework
  • Create a safe, happy and stimulating classroom where children can thrive
  • Support children's learning, development and wellbeing through a range of practical and play-based activities
  • Assess progress and use this to plan the next steps in learning
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues and parents to ensure every child is well supported
  • Take an active role in the wider life of the school
  • The Ideal Candidate
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching within an EYFS setting
  • Has a good understanding of the EYFS Framework
  • Creates a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Builds strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues
  • Is organised, caring and committed to helping every child succeed
  • ECTs are welcome to apply
