A well-established secondary academy in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire is seeking an experienced Food and Nutrition Teacher to start in September on an ongoing, temp to permanent basis. Paying the new 3.5% uplifted MPS (or UPS) rates from day 1, this is an exciting role with full teaching responsibilities at a diverse and vibrant secondary school. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering engaging and practical Food and Nutrition lessons across KS3-KS4
- Inspiring students to achieve their personal best within a supportive learning environment
- Planning and assessing in line with the department's established schemes of work
- Contributing to the sustaining and enhancing of the Design & Technology Department
Requirements for 'Food and Nutrition Teacher' role:
- Qualified Teacher Status (desirable)
- Experience teaching Food and Nutrition at Secondary level (essential)
- Commitment to supporting all learners, including those with additional needs
- Enhanced DBS Checked, on Update Service (or willing to apply)
