Tradewind are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Tameside on a full-time basis from the end of May. You will take full responsibility for a Year 3 class through to the end of the academic year. This is a full-time position, paid in line MPS1-MPS6. Responsibilities- Take full responsibility for a Year 3 class through to the end of the academic year.
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and differentiated lessons across core subjects.
- Develop and implement suitable teaching strategies and assessment frameworks.
- Create a calm, purposeful learning environment.
- Maintain strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
- Experience teaching within KS2, with a secure understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.
- Confidence in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons across core subjects.
- Experience using schemes such as White Rose Maths and structured reading approaches.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
- QTS (or an equivalent teaching qualification).
- Recent experience teaching in KS2, supported by strong references.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
