Tradewind are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Tameside on a full-time basis from the end of May. You will take full responsibility for a Year 3 class through to the end of the academic year. This is a full-time position, paid in line MPS1-MPS6. Responsibilities
  • Take full responsibility for a Year 3 class through to the end of the academic year.
  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and differentiated lessons across core subjects.
  • Develop and implement suitable teaching strategies and assessment frameworks.
  • Create a calm, purposeful learning environment.
  • Maintain strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
Qualifications
  • Experience teaching within KS2, with a secure understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.
  • Confidence in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons across core subjects.
  • Experience using schemes such as White Rose Maths and structured reading approaches.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
Essential Requirements
  • QTS (or an equivalent teaching qualification).
  • Recent experience teaching in KS2, supported by strong references.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.
