Are you an SEN Teacher looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people across Northumberland? We are seeking skilled and motivated SEN Teachers to support pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
You will work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, delivering tailored learning programmes designed to meet individual needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties.
The Opportunity
- Work within SEN schools, specialist provisions, and alternative education settings
- Deliver personalised learning programmes to individuals and small groups

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
- Adapt teaching strategies to support a variety of SEN needs
- Monitor progress and provide clear feedback linked to EHCP targets
- Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs, and external professionals
- Uphold safeguarding and child protection responsibilities at all times
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with pupils with special educational needs
- Strong understanding of inclusive and SEN-specific teaching strategies
- Ability to manage behaviour positively and support emotional regulation
