Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time Art Technician to work at an excellent setting in Hull, starting as soon as possible, and lasting until at least Easter 2026. Payment for this position will be between 95 and 115 per day, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a temporary position, and is a full time position. Working hours will be between 8:30 and 4:00PM, Monday to Friday.
Specific duties in this role include:
- To assist with the day to day running of the department by ensuring that rooms are prepared and ready for lessons throughout the day and cleared at the end of each lesson and particularly at the end of the day.
- Assist staff and students with work, including preparation of materials, mounting and photographing work and photocopying.
- To archive photographs of work and organise sets of photographs regularly for IT Technicians to update on the department area of the school website & blog.
- To assist with short specialist workshops to A level Art students.
- Order and prepare teaching materials as required.
- Updating of school/classroom displays as requested.
- Unpacking deliveries and maintain order in the store cupboards.
Located in Hull, the college is easily accessible from almost all parts of Hull via Bus, and has an onsite car park for candidates who drive. There is also a large car park nearby that is low cost and can be reimbursed in wages. Tradewind will also support your development during your placement and beyond through our fantastic CPD via The National College.

- Have experience in a similar role.
- Have an Art background.
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
