Tradewind Recruitment are excited to be working with this Client, a vibrant and ambitious secondary school based in Tower Hamlets, who are seeking a talented and creative Art Teacher to join their successful Creative Arts department from September. This is a full-time Permanent / Fixed Term opportunity offering a salary on the London MPS/UPS scale, with interviews to be arranged immediately.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. The role will include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality Art lessons that engage and challenge students

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have a relevant degree in Art or a related subject
  • Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a passion for creative arts
  • Have experience teaching Art at secondary level
  • Be committed to delivering outstanding teaching and learning
  • Possess excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Be passionate about supporting student achievement and wellbeing
