Are you an experienced Maths Teacher looking for your next role in Trafford? Tradewind Recruitment is working with a well-regarded and inclusive secondary school in Trafford to recruit a dedicated and experienced Teacher of Maths for a full-time, ongoing sickness cover position, starting as soon as possible.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident classroom practitioner who can deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, support pupils with a range of additional learning needs, including SEND, and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
Daily rate: £174 - £240 per day (depending on experience)
The role:
- You will be teaching Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4 on a full-time basis.
- The school is looking for an experienced teacher with strong curriculum knowledge, the ability to deliver engaging lessons and excellent behaviour management skills.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have strong experience teaching Maths at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Be confident planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Mathematics curriculum.
- Have a secure understanding of the KS3 and KS4 Maths curriculum.
- Be able to adapt teaching strategies to support SEND pupils and varying learning needs.
- Create a calm, respectful and focused classroom environment.
- Have high expectations and a proven track record of helping pupils make strong progress.
- Be flexible, committed and enthusiastic about Mathematics education.
