Tradewind Recruitment are seeking compassionate, adaptable and experienced Alternative Provision Tutors to support Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils across Rotherham who require personalised education within the community.
This rewarding role involves working on a 1:1 basis with pupils who are unable to access mainstream education for a variety of reasons.
Many of the young people you will support have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, making a patient, nurturing and relationship-focused approach essential.
About the Role As an Alternative Provision Tutor, you will deliver tailored educational sessions that help pupils re-engage with learning, build confidence and work towards their academic goals.
Sessions may take place in pupils homes, community settings or other agreed learning environments across Rotherham, in line with Local Authority guidance.
Every learner is different, so you ll have the opportunity to adapt your teaching style to meet individual needs while building positive, trusting relationships that encourage progress.
