We are seeking a dedicated and active Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive Alternative Provision in the Accrington area. This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity to work with young people who require extra support, guidance, and inspiration to reach their full potential.

The Role

  • Small Class Sizes: You will be supporting a small, focused class of up to 8 pupils, allowing you to build strong rapport and deliver impactful, individualised support.

  • Resilience & Empathy: Experience working within an Alternative Provision, PRU, or with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs is a plus, but the right attitude and a thick skin are essential.
  • Strong Communication: The ability to connect with teenagers, de-escalate challenging situations, and earn their trust.

Why Choose This Alternative Provision?

  • Excellent training and professional development opportunities.
  • The chance to make a tangible, positive impact on vulnerable young people every single day.
  • Smaller class sizes that allow for genuine connection and mentorship.
