This is a full-time maternity cover role, starting January 2026, running for twelve months.
The Role
- Position: Teacher of A Level Psychology (AQA exam board)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 4:00pm
- Contract: Temporary (12 months, maternity cover)
- Start Date: January 2026
We are looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Psychology specialist with a strong grasp of the AQA specification. You will be teaching bright and motivated students aged 16-19 and will have the freedom to deliver engaging, thought-provoking lessons tailored to the needs of each learner. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, adaptability, and a genuine passion for Psychology to the classroom, inspiring the next generation of social scientists. Applications are welcomed from early career teachers (ECTs), experienced QTS teachers, or FE lecturers with A Level Psychology teaching experience.

Requirements
- Hold QTS, QTLS, or a relevant FE teaching qualification (such as PGCE14+ or PGCEFE)

- Have the legal right to work in the UK with no restrictions
