Year 7 Teaching Assistant Hackney £95-£132 per day 28 September - 18 December
SANZA Teaching Agency is recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a specialist secondary school in Hackney.
Supporting a Year 7 class of 14 pupils, you will help students access learning, build confidence, develop communication skills, and engage positively throughout the school day.
Responsibilities
- Support students during lessons
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement
- Assist with communication and emotional regulation
- Work closely with the class teacher and SEND team
- Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom
Requirements
- Experience working with young people preferred
- SEND experience desirable but not essential
- Patient, proactive, and resilient
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Pay and Progression
- Pay ranges from £95-£132 per day based on experience, qualifications, SEND knowledge, and specialist school experience.
Successful applicants will be subject to DBS, reference, right-to-work, and qualification checks.
