Year 4 Teacher Opportunity in Southwark! SANZA Teaching Agency is working in partnership with a welcoming, Ofsted-rated 'Good' primary school in Southwark to recruit a passionate and committed Year 4 Teacher to join their team from January 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic primary teacher looking for a new challenge in a supportive, two-form entry school. The position will initially be offered on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

The school is looking for a dedicated teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, inspire pupils and create a positive classroom environment where every child can achieve their full potential.

The Role

• Take responsibility for teaching a Year 4 class, delivering high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
• Monitor, assess and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to support individual achievement.
• Establish high expectations for behaviour, learning and pupil engagement.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, confidence and independence.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to support pupils' academic and personal development.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 4.
• Demonstrates strong curriculum knowledge and effective classroom management.
• Can plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that motivate pupils.
• Has high expectations for pupil progress, behaviour and achievement.
• Is a team player who is keen to contribute to the wider school community.
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
