Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum.
- Teaching a Year 2 class on a full-time basis.
- Supporting pupils to make strong academic and personal progress.
- Establishing positive relationships with pupils and creating a calm, purposeful classroom.
- Managing behaviour confidently and consistently in line with school expectations.
- Assessing pupils' progress and adapting teaching accordingly.
- Working collaboratively with support staff and other members of the school team.
- Contributing positively to the wider life of the school.
About You
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have recent and relevant experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2.
- Have a strong knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum.
- Be confident managing classroom behaviour.
- Be an engaging and enthusiastic teacher who can inspire and motivate pupils.
- Be reliable, professional and committed to providing high-quality teaching.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
