The successful teacher will be expected to take responsibility for the normal planning, preparation, assessment and teaching duties associated with a long‑term classroom position.

Ideal Food Technology Teacher
- Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching Food Technology within a secondary school
- Have strong practical and theoretical subject knowledge
- Can plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons
- Understand appropriate food hygiene, health and safety procedures
- Can effectively manage practical classroom environments
- Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Can differentiate lessons to meet a range of abilities
- Are confident assessing and monitoring pupil progress
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
- Are available to commit to a long-term position from January2027
Experienced Food Technology Teachers are encouraged to apply, along with strong ECTs who have appropriate subject knowledge and relevant secondary school experience.
