Are you a passionate PE Teacher looking to inspire students through sport and physical activity? Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Wellingborough. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed teacher to deliver engaging PE lessons and encourage students to develop their physical skills, confidence, teamwork, and understanding of healthy lifestyles. The successful candidate will join a supportive department and play an important role in encouraging students to participate in a wide range of sporting activities.
The Role:
- Planning and delivering engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Teaching a range of practical sports and physical activities.
- Supporting students to develop their sporting skills, confidence, and teamwork.
- Monitoring, assessing, and supporting student progress.
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
- Encouraging participation in extracurricular sporting activities where required.
- Contributing to the wider life of the PE department and school community.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting.
- Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Is passionate about sport and inspiring young people.
- Can build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Is enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning.
