This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised individual who enjoys working in a busy school environment and is confident supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a school office.
Key responsibilities
- Providing effective administrative support to the school office and wider staff team
- Managing pupil records and school data accurately and confidentially
- Handling incoming calls, emails and general enquiries professionally
- Maintaining filing systems, databases and school records
- Supporting attendance and general school administration
- Welcoming visitors, parents and pupils to the school
- Liaising with teachers, parents, external agencies and other stakeholders
- Supporting the wider school team with general administrative duties
Requirements
- Previous administrative experience, ideally within a school or education setting
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Professional, friendly and approachable manner
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Enhanced DBS on the update service preferred
