Are you reliable, hardworking, and take pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment? We're looking for a dedicated School Cleaner to support a school in Warrington, ensuring classrooms, communal areas, and facilities are maintained to a high standard.

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable Cleaner to join a school site team, helping to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for students and staff. You'll be responsible for cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and other school areas, working as part of a wider premises and cleaning team.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas
• Ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene
• Follow appropriate cleaning procedures and health and safety guidelines
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly
• Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
• Report any maintenance, damage, or health and safety concerns to the appropriate member of staff
• Work effectively as part of the school cleaning team

What We're Looking For

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
• A reliable, hardworking, and conscientious approach
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good understanding of hygiene and health and safety practices
• A professional and positive attitude
• A valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)

Desirable (but not essential)

• Previous experience working in a school or education setting
• Previous commercial or facilities cleaning experience
• Knowledge of COSHH and safe use of cleaning chemicals
