SEMH Teacher - Camden November Start

Location: Camden, North London
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-Time
Salary: Dependent on experience and Scale - M3+

Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people?

We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming specialist school in Camden for an enthusiastic SEMH Teacher to join their team from September. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment where you'll help pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

The Role

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with SEMH needs. You'll create a positive and structured learning environment, support students both academically and emotionally, and work closely with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure every child has the opportunity to succeed.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with pupils with SEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviour is desirable.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach to teaching.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes.

What the School Offers

  • A supportive and experienced leadership team.
  • Excellent professional development and training opportunities.
  • A collaborative working environment with dedicated support staff.
  • Well-resourced classrooms and specialist facilities.
  • The opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people.

If you're an experienced SEMH Teacher or a mainstream teacher looking to transition into specialist education, we'd love to hear from you.
