Level 2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Salford
Contract: Full-time (Monday to Friday), ASAP
Start Salary: £95 - £100 PAYE per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
About the Role:
Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our a Primary School in Salford. Based in KS1 and KS2, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide tailored support to students in a nurturing classroom. You will also work 1:1 with students with SEND across the class. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of young learners while developing your own professional skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the delivery of learning activities and lessons for students with SEND.
- Provide one-to-one support or work with small groups of students.
- Help students develop their social, emotional, and academic skills.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers.
- Contribute to creating an inclusive, safe, and supportive classroom environment.
About You:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
- Experience working with SEND students is beneficial but not essential.
- A positive and flexible approach with a genuine passion for working with children.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting the individual needs of students.
