The role
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the relevant secondary age groups.
- Teaching religious beliefs, practices, philosophical arguments and ethical issues.
- Developing pupils' analytical, evaluative and written communication skills.
- Preparing learning activities that challenge pupils of differing abilities.
- Assessing progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining high expectations.
- Contributing to a positive classroom environment built around respect and inclusion.
What we're looking for
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge across Religious Education, religion and ethics.
- Effective classroom management and clear communication skills.
- The ability to engage pupils in discussion while maintaining balanced, respectful debate.
- A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and pupil progress.
- Based in or reliably commutable to High Wycombe
