Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the Radcliffe area of Bury.
The school is committed to providing an engaging and inclusive curriculum, with a strong focus on developing pupils' confidence as they make the transition from Key Stage 1 into Key Stage 2.
With a supportive leadership team and a collaborative teaching environment, this is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys developing children's independence, strengthening core skills and delivering creative lessons.
The role will involve
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons to a Year 3 class.
- Supporting pupils with the transition into Key Stage 2 learning.
- Developing reading, writing and mathematical skills.
- Differentiating lessons to accommodate different learning abilities.
- Monitoring, assessing and recording pupil progress.
- Establishing positive classroom routines and expectations.
- Promoting independent learning and problem-solving.
- Working closely with Teaching Assistants and colleagues.
The successful candidate will
- Hold QTS.
- Have previous primary teaching experience.
- Ideally have experience teaching within Lower Key Stage 2.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management.
- Be confident adapting lessons to meet individual needs.
- Have a positive and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
