Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a small, welcoming 1-form-entry primary school in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, seeking an experienced and committed Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their Year 3 team immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident TA or LSA to provide targeted support within a Year 3 classroom, helping pupils access learning, develop independence and make positive progress. The school offers a friendly, close-knit environment where staff work collaboratively and pupils benefit from a strong sense of community.
The Role
- Full-time Year 3 TA/LSA position
- Immediate start
- Supporting pupils across the classroom with learning and development
- Providing targeted support to pupils who require additional help
- Working closely with the class teacher and wider support team
- Helping to maintain a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development

The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, LSA or Learning Support Assistant
- Experience supporting primary-aged children, ideally within KS2
- Confident supporting pupils on a one-to-one and small-group basis
- Patient, nurturing and able to build positive relationships with children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proactive, adaptable and willing to support wherever needed
- A genuine commitment to helping pupils achieve their potential
- Relevant TA qualifications or equivalent school-based experience
