Salary: In line with the Main Pay Scale (MPS)

The Role

• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive PE lessons that develop students' physical skills, fitness, confidence and teamwork.
• Teach a range of physical activities and sports across relevant key stages, adapting lessons to meet students' varying abilities and needs.
• Inspire students to participate in sport, embrace physical activity and develop healthy, active lifestyles.
• Promote sportsmanship, resilience, discipline and collaboration through practical lessons and team activities.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support individual development and achievement.
• Maintain high standards of teaching, learning, behaviour and safety during practical lessons.
• Ensure all activities are delivered safely, following appropriate health and safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support extracurricular sporting opportunities and contribute to the wider school community.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an appropriate recognised equivalent, where applicable.
• Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for PE, sport and physical education.
• Demonstrates effective classroom management and the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Can deliver dynamic, inclusive lessons that challenge and inspire students of all abilities.
• Is enthusiastic about promoting participation, teamwork, personal development and healthy lifestyles.
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• Both ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply!
