PE Coach - Secondary School
Location: Newham, East London
Start Date: After October Half Term
Contract: Long-term position
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of PE lessons and sporting activities across the secondary age range.
- Lead and supervise practical sports sessions, encouraging participation and engagement.
- Support teachers in maintaining positive behaviour and discipline during lessons.
- Promote teamwork, sportsmanship and healthy lifestyles among students.
- Assist with organising extracurricular sports activities and school fixtures.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of students during all sporting activities.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working as a PE Coach, Sports Coach or in a similar role.
- Confident working with secondary school-aged students.
- Strong communication, organisation and behaviour management skills.
- Passionate about sport and encouraging young people to participate in physical activity.
- Reliable, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a school team.
