Tradewind Recruitment is working with a successful all-through school in North London seeking an organised, professional and proactive PA to Principal to provide high-level support to the Principal and Senior Leadership Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant or senior administrator to play a key role in a busy school environment, supporting strategic leadership and contributing to the smooth operation of the school.

Role Summary
As PA to the Principal, you will provide professional administrative and organisational support, helping to manage priorities, coordinate activities and ensure effective communication across the school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Principal's diary, appointments and schedule.
- Coordinate meetings and prepare supporting documentation.
- Prepare agendas, presentations, reports and correspondence.
- Take accurate minutes and monitor follow-up actions.
- Act as a key point of contact for staff, parents, governors and external stakeholders.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Support the organisation of school events, meetings and projects.
- Monitor key deadlines and ensure actions are completed on time.
- Liaise effectively with the Senior Leadership Team and wider staff.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Previous experience in a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant or senior administrative role.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing diaries, meetings and competing priorities.
- High levels of professionalism and discretion.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Desirable:
- Previous experience working within a school, college or educational setting.
- Experience supporting senior leaders or executives.
- Experience taking formal minutes and preparing reports.
Pay and Progression
£130-£160 per day, paid weekly via PAYE. Rates are determined by relevant experience, previous responsibility levels, experience supporting senior leaders and proficiency in managing complex administrative processes. The highest rate of £160 per day is typically available to candidates who can demonstrate substantial experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant, experience working with senior stakeholders, excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage confidential information within a fast-paced environment.
