Our recruitment agency is currently seeking a committed Sports Coach to join a successful mainstream secondary school based in Oldbury to deliver PE lessons to KS3 and KS4.
The Role
Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting the delivery of engaging sports and physical education activities.
- Working with students of varying abilities and encouraging participation.
- Assisting teachers with PE lessons and practical activities.
- Leading or supporting extracurricular clubs, fixtures and sporting events.
- Promoting teamwork, discipline, confidence and positive behaviour.
- Providing encouragement and motivation to students.
- Supporting students who may require additional encouragement or pastoral support.
- Maintaining a safe, positive and inclusive sporting environment.
The Ideal Candidate
- Has experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school or educational setting.
- Has a genuine passion for sport and physical activity.
- Is confident leading groups of secondary-aged students.
- Can build positive relationships with students and staff.
