Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity in a supportive secondary school?
We are working with a well-established secondary school in Northwood seeking enthusiastic General and Subject-Specific Teaching Assistants to join their team ASAP. Previous experience working in a secondary school is essential.

The Role
- Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons across the secondary curriculum.
- Providing one-to-one, small-group and classroom support.
- Supporting subject-specific lessons, including English, Maths, Science and Humanities.
- Helping students stay focused, engaged and motivated.
- Supporting students' academic progress and development.
- Promoting positive behaviour and working collaboratively with teaching staff.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous Teaching Assistant experience in a secondary school is essential.
- Good understanding of the secondary school curriculum.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, proactive and adaptable approach.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Strong subject knowledge for subject-specific roles.
- Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
- Available to start ASAP and commit until July 2027.
