SEND Tutors Wanted - Support Children & Young People Across the North West
Tradewind Recruitment is looking for experienced and passionate Tutors to support children and young adults across the North West who require additional educational support.
Through our work delivering tuition via the North West SEND Tuition Framework, we support learners who may be unable to access mainstream education for a variety of reasons, including SEND, medical needs, anxiety, school refusal, exclusion or elective home education.
We are looking for tutors who can provide engaging, personalised 1:1 tuition and make a genuine difference to a young person's education and confidence.
We are looking for tutors with:

QTS or relevant teaching/tutoring experience

Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
-
Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum
-
The ability to adapt lessons to individual needs
-
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
-
A patient, nurturing and flexible approach
-
Experience delivering 1:1 tuition is desirable

Functional Skills

GCSE subjects

Post-16 learning and life skills
Your role will include:

Delivering personalised 1:1 tuition

Building positive relationships with learners and families

Planning and adapting sessions around individual needs

Supporting academic progress and engagement

Providing feedback and progress updates

Working collaboratively with schools, families and other professionals
