You will play an important role in helping students overcome barriers to learning, improve their behaviour and attendance, and achieve their full potential.
The Role
- Manage and support students with challenging behaviour.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with students.
- Monitor behaviour, attendance and punctuality.
- Deliver targeted pastoral and behaviour interventions.
- Work closely with teachers, parents/carers and senior leaders.
- Support students with SEND and additional pastoral needs.
- Respond calmly and effectively to incidents and conflict.
- Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures.
- Encourage positive choices, resilience and engagement with learning.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is calm, resilient, approachable and consistent, with excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to supporting young people. Experience within a secondary school, education, youth work or behaviour-support setting would be highly desirable.
