Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming primary school in Enfield seeking an experienced Level 3 Nursery Room Lead to take responsibility for a developing 2-3-year-old provision.

Role Summary

As Nursery Room Lead, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the 2-3-year-old provision, creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where children can learn through play and exploration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operation of the 2-3-year-old provision
  • Plan and deliver engaging EYFS learning experiences
  • Create a welcoming and stimulating learning environment
  • Support children's communication, language, social, emotional and physical development
  • Monitor children's progress through observations and assessments
  • Establish positive routines and high expectations
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and families
  • Support children with additional needs where required
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to learning journeys
  • Follow all safeguarding and child protection procedures

Candidate Requirements

  • A relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Experience working within an Early Years setting
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Experience supporting children aged 2-3 years
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
  • A commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and child-centred practice

Pay and Progression

The daily rate for this position is £110-£120 per day, paid via PAYE. The highest rate of £120 per day is available to candidates who can demonstrate substantial Early Years experience, strong EYFS knowledge, experience leading or supporting a nursery room, and the ability to make an immediate positive impact within the provision.
