The Opportunity
We are looking for a dedicated History Teacher to take on a full-time role in Bristol from November. You'll deliver engaging lessons across the History curriculum, helping pupils explore significant historical periods, evaluate evidence and develop well-supported arguments.
Your Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging History lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teach GCSE History and support examination preparation
- Develop pupils' historical knowledge, source analysis and essay-writing skills
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain positive behaviour management and effective classroom routines
- Adapt lessons to meet pupils' varying abilities and learning needs
- Contribute positively to the wider department and school community
