Tradewind Recruitment is working with secondary schools across Salford and is seeking degree-qualified Cover Supervisors to support teaching and learning.
We are looking for confident, professional and adaptable graduates who can lead a classroom, motivate students and help maintain a positive learning environment. Previous experience working in a school is highly desirable, and candidates with a background in education or working with young people are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising classes across a variety of subjects during teacher absences.
- Ensuring students complete pre-set work and remain on task.
- Maintaining effective classroom management and promoting positive behaviour.
- Creating a safe, inclusive and productive learning environment.
- Supporting students throughout the school day and ensuring lessons run smoothly.
What We're Looking For:
- A degree qualification in any subject (essential).
- Previous experience working in a school or educational setting (ideally).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence managing secondary-aged pupils.
- A flexible, proactive and reliable approach.
- A genuine interest in education and supporting young people.
